A: Two models: the EF500 DG Super and EF500 DG ST. Both models are available in versions dedicated for Sigma, Canon, Minolta, Nikon and Pentax AF cameras and have a powerful Guide Number of 100/ft. for ISO 100 with coverage for 28mm wide-angle lenses, 165/ft. for ISO 100 at 105mm telephoto lenses. They provide most of the dedicated functions of comparable model flash units from the camera manufacturers themselves (e.g. automatic shutter speed synchronization, TTL automatic exposure control, manual exposure control, automatic power zoom function, etc.). Some EF500 DG Super additional functions (e.g. rear-curtain synchronization, wireless TTL controlled flash, high speed synchronization, red eye reduction, etc.) are available for certain model cameras within a camera system. This is dependent on features the particular camera can support. Your cameras owner manual or manufacturer can tell you what special flash functions your camera can utilize. The EF500 DG ST provides the same high light output and dedicated automatic features, but without the extra creative functions of the EF500 DG Super, mentioned above. Both models feature motorized zoom head, covering from 28mm to 105mm lenses plus bounce and swivel function. |
